Dinić Branko

Dinić Branko (Serbia)

1930-2012

He was born in Žednik near Subotica in 1930. He began doing painting in 1969. In his paintings this chronicler of his time poeticized rural countryside and recorded everything that made it unique. The paintings with a phantasmagorical subject matter show the artist’s expressive inventiveness in both composition and colouring. The structure of vegetation and "horror vacui" make his works intensive.
