Neck Chand and Rock Garden

Art Pavilion “Cvijeta Zuzorić“ in Belgrade

5-15 October 2017

 

The exhibition of donated sculptures done by Indian sculptor Neck Chand from Rock Garden in Chandigarh, organised by MNMA, opened in front of Art Pavilion “Cvijeta Zuzorić“ in Belgrade on Thursday, 5 October at 5.00 pm. Nina Krstić, the author of exhibition, Narinder Chauhan, the Ambassador of India in Belgrade, Anuj Saini, the son of the great artist and Lucy Maizels, the First Secretary of Embassy of Great Britain gave speeches.

 

The exhibition is accompanied by bilingual monograph: Neck Chand and Rock Garden done by the author, Nina Krstić. The monograph was designed by Slobodan Štetić. The exhibition was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of Republic of Serbia.

 

Museum of Naïve and Marginal Art is greatly thankful to the Embassy of India in Belgrade, Her Excellency Narinder Chauhan for the support and help and Mr John Maizels, Director of Neck Chand Foundation for overall help in the realisation of donation of sculptures, exhibition and monograph.

 

The exhibition will be open until 15 October 2017.
