Košut Tivadar

Košut Tivadar (Serbia/Hungary)

He was born in Novi Bečej in 1947. He began doing painting in 1967.
Besides Biblical tales, he paints scenes from his childhood, as well as scenes from everyday life. In his paintings he eliminates literariness, description of reality and inspires us to perceive and recognise the symbol. He employs gentle, round line and simple drawing which he frames, thus controling his coloured strokes.
