Maran Anujka (Serbia)

1918-1983

  She was born in Uzdin in 1918. She began to do painting in 1961.
Anujka Maran presented everyday village life and portraits in the colours of Romanian folklore, thus transmitting the tiniest motifs from embroidery into the canvas.
