Rashidi Ghadi Kianoosh

Kianoosh Rashidi Ghadi (Iran/Germany)

He was born in Zirab (Iran) in 1962. He began doing painting in 2006. He does drawings of small format with intertwined, opposed or reduced zoomorphic and anthropomorphic motifs. He relatedly creates phantasmagorical buildings by using geometrical lines, entwined in the paper in the form of a thick network without visible beginning or end. The only application of colour is in his attempt to frame or emphasise the motif, or intensify background with unusual, hybrid and floating creatures.
