Spasić Čedomir

Spasić Čedomir (Serbia)

1923-1976

He was born in Borinci near Pusta Reka in 1923. He began doing painting in 1964. Expressive strokes and intensive colouring along with diagonal composition emphasise the psychological tension. The reduction of form and dark colours accentuate the central part of composition which is pictorially pronounced. The stylisation of background also tends to emphasise the subject matter.
