Zarić Milica (Serbia)

1924-1992

  She was born in Leskovac near Lazarevac in 1924. She began doing painting in 1969. By using oil paints and embroidery (wool) on canvas, Milica Zarić portrayed the beauty of patriarchal village life authentically treating the form in Bogosav-like manner.
